8:00 am, your English-speaking guide will pick up you from the hotel and drive you to a local house in Saigon by motorbike. You are warmly welcomed by members of the family with Vietnamese hot tea or coffee. You will be introduced to members of the family, learn how to say mom, and dad in Vietnamese as well as learn about the house's history
9:00 am, we take a few minutes walk with the tour guide and members of the family to the local market, you will be introduced to the market‘s culture and some Vietnamese-specific foods and fruits, and buy ingredients for cooking. Then we will come back home and prepare for lunchtime.
Join together with members of the family and learn how to cook some different dishes between the North, the Middle, and the South taste. We then have lunch with members of the family, before we drive back to the hotel around 12:30 pm.
